Do you want to publish your book?
If you have still gone on to read this despite noticing the topic, you definitely want to publish your book and are reading the right piece of content to guide you through that.Publishing a book can be a daunting and difficult task if the people helping you to do it have no idea what they are doing. After more than 10 years of helping authors publish books, I have noticed that there are 3 stages in publishing that every author must know and understand in order to be successful.
The first stage is prepress.Pre-press basically means "before printing" and refers to everything you have to do before printing your book. For example, when you have a manuscript, it has to be edited designed into a professional looking book before being printed. Here at Anson publishing, we help authors go through this very sensitive stage. When editing an author 's book we don't agree with crossing out words and sentences in the author's script without first consulting the author. We often call authors and discuss which places might need to be edited.Unless the author agrees, we can not alter anything written. In most cases we don't want to change the meaning of a sentence written by the author. Instead of attacking every sentence we see in the book like unprofessional publishers do, we only advice on grammar and help the author in getting rid of spelling mistakes or punctuation errors. We do this gently without imposing our suggestions on the author. That's why many authors prefer us.
Then we design the cover and the text nicely so that the book is attractive and ready for sale.Normally when designing a cover, it's good to submit three designs of the cover for the author to choose the best. This stage of preparing a book before printing it, which includes consultative editing, cover and text design is called pre-press.It's also a stage where an ISBN is inserted into the book.
As you might have probably guessed it, the press stage is the stage where your book is printed.Although it sounds like a walk in the park, printing is no easy thing especially for indie authors. When printing a book, you need more quality than someone who is printing a financial report that isn't going to be sold.Your book is going to be exchanged for money and your customers will be more concerned about its quality. Unfortunately, printing companies often don't bind, laminate or even print books well. This is why we prefer to help our authors monitor printing standards to make sure they get more bang for their money.
In such instances as the corona pandemic, many readers prefer ebooks because of social distancing ethos.Others prefer drop shipping which entails sending a book to a customer by courier after it has been ordered online. This means that depending on what you prefer, you might not print at all after completing pre-press.Or even better, instead of stock-piling books without a sure demand, you might prefer to let us arrange print-on-demand.With print on demand, customers order your book online and if they want it printed, it is delivered to them after printing. Our system communicates with authors to let them know that immediately and order is completed. The dynamics of doing this can be explained in more detail should you require more information. In any case, it's optional we don't oblige anyone we help to do this.
Post press simply means "after printing". Although most publishers avoid mentioning the post-press stage to their authors, it is probably the most crucial stage. How something ends is more important than how it begins. In this very website where this blog you're reading is placed, authors sell their work and their publisher helps them through it all.Other authors prefer to sell their books through a book debut launch. In any case, the modalities of doing one thing may vary but what matters profoundly is success and if you're with us, we equally are with you every step of the way to make sure you succeed.Contact us to get FREE ADVICE on your book and how to go about publishing it.Our brief forms are below.

TSAPELO T. THABENG, AUTHOR OF FROM THE ASHES
My first encounter with Anson Publishing was some years back, at the Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture when they were invited to come and advice aspiring writers on publishing and everything that has to do with it. Their presentation was mind opening and even though I had another publisher in mind I immediately made an appointment with them and learnt more about their offers. I had to jump in and take what was presented to me because their payment plans were much cheaper than the publisher I had in mind. I was able to pay the full amount of my book well in time because their payment conditions favoured me especially since I was a student at Limkokwing University back then.I used my allowance. Anson Publishing delivers when it comes to quality and I will never regret joining the team.
